Salles told the newspaper that Brazil wanted to increase the fund’s efficiency and, above all, restructure the supervisory board. „The aim is for the fund to be able to repatriate money.“ Representatives of non-governmental organizations should have as many seats as before, and lenders should be given a seat that they did not previously have.
