The world’s largest aircraft manufacturer Boeing has postponed the delivery of its ultra-long-haul jet 777-9. The first flight will take place only in the coming year, said the US Airbus competitor.

This should make it difficult for Boeing to deliver machines of the type to the Australian airline Qantas on time so that it can offer a 21-hour non-stop flight from Sydney to London in 2023 as planned. Qantas had hoped to get delivered first aircraft in 2022.
