After the knife attack on a woman in Nuremberg, the police arrested a suspect. The 25-year-old is suspected, this morning of the 21-year-olds with a knife repeatedly stabbed in the upper body, said the police. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
As the police had come on the track of the man from Iraq, they initially did not want to announce for tactical reasons. The woman’s companion had been able to provide clues to the police shortly after the crime, a spokesman said.
The officials were unable to clarify the suspect’s residence status in the early afternoon. The investigators wanted to announce backgrounds and details at a press conference tomorrow.
