The English second division football club Leeds United has to pay the equivalent of 228,000 euros penalty, because a club employee had illegally watched a training of the competitor Derby County. The former finalist in the European Champions Cup then received a warning on Monday and a call not to repeat it.
Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa took over the responsibility for the incident last month and admitted that until then he had been watching the training of all opponents this season. Leeds United apologized on Monday in a statement for the action.
