In the next two years, space tourists will again fly to the International Space Station (ISS). Two places for the trip into space were to forgive, said the Russian space agency Roskosmos today. The flight is planned until the end of 2021. An exact date was not mentioned.
So far eight private flights into space organized
Roskosmos and Space Adventures, a US space space company, signed a contract. As the company writes on its website, it has so far organized eight private flights into space.
Such trips to the ISS have existed since 2001. However, they are extremely expensive. As the first tourist Dennis Tito flew for about 20 million dollars (15 million euros) to the space station. According to the US space agency NASA, the existing outpost of humanity since 1998 totaled nearly 150 visitors, mostly astronauts.
The head of the private space company Virgin Galactic, Richard Branson, has announced, according to US media, to launch in the summer in their own spaceship into space. Flights to space are also offered by other private space companies. The company SpaceX wants to head to the moon with tourists.
