The impact of a meteorite has scared many people in Cuba. The celestial body descended on the west of the island state accompanied by an explosive bang and flash-like glow, according to the National Institute of Geophysics. Concerned residents reported in the afternoon in social networks of the unusual phenomenon. Many people ran to the streets to see what’s going on in the sky.
Apparently the meteorite did not set up according to authorities. He was broken when entering the earth’s atmosphere in several parts, the largest part of which was 20 to 30 centimeters in size. According to the Geophysical Institute, the unexpected visitor from space was a boulder of iron, nickel and magnesium.
