The tightening of migration policy is one of Donald Trump’s key campaign promises. His billions of billions for the construction of the wall on the border with Mexico, rejected by the Democrats, recently led to the longest government stalemate in US history. The fact that today’s US President has to accept allegations that he himself once employed migrants without valid papers often falls into oblivion.
In a luxury golf club, the New York Times reported in December, Guatemala-based Victorina Morales worked for Trump. She was hired in 2013 with fake papers as a housekeeper. Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman confirmed that she had invited Morales. Trump’s speech was supposed to take place at the end of January, but was postponed to February 5 because of the shutdown.
