In the crisis of the German Railways, Minister of Transport Andreas Scheuer comes together today for the third time since the beginning of the year with the head of the group.
The talks will focus on how the complex structures of the Group can be improved and what the future financing looks like. The railway is heavily in debt and needs additional billions, for example for the modernization of the fleet and the network.
In mid-January, the railway had announced a package of measures to get out of the crisis. So the trains are punctual and the service to be improved.
