Serbian leader Alexander Vuchic presented a four-month-old Sharplanin shepherd puppy to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The breed is named after the Shar-Planina mountain range, where local shepherds used such dogs to protect herds, and is distinguished by fearlessness and resistance to low temperatures.
