The German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) sees according to a report of the Berlin „Tagesspiegel“ with AfD chief Alexander Gauland personally problematic tendencies. Thus, the domestic intelligence service Gauland certify „nationalist socialist images of society,“ the newspaper reported today.
The „Tagesspiegel“ relied on the previously unpublished report of the domestic secret service to the AFD, which is the editorship. Gauland is also accused of „defaming those who are not part of their own upgraded group“.
In addition, the AFD head expressed remarks in a speech in June 2016, according to which it is the policy of many social forces and the churches, „that this country disappears from the earth and lives, so to speak, only some foreign population here“.

In addition, Gauland „clearly supports a deportation policy that exposes migrants to torture, the death penalty or other impairment of human dignity,“ the report said. The report is the basis for the decision of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution to classify AfD as a whole. This means increased observation, albeit initially not with intelligence, but only through an analysis of publicly available sources.
