The federal government wants to tighten the aircraft noise limits only from 2021 and before bring any reform on the way.
This is clear from the aircraft noise report that is being dealt with today by the Cabinet, writes the Rheinische Post.
Around airports, the limit values should then be lowered by one to three decibels from 2021 onwards. A «anticipated reduction» is not recommended by the Federal Government, according to the report. In addition, the federal government proposes that kindergartens, elementary schools and hospitals should be able to reimburse the costs of soundproofing measures more easily.
