The telephone conversation between China’s President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump of Saturday is attracting public attention in both countries.
The telephone call, with China celebrating the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the US, shows that both countries have agreed to reduce differences and promote stability through dialogue, said an analyst from Beijing.
The US daily „the Wall Street Journal“ commented that the good contacts between the heads of state of both countries and the smooth development of trade talks had given confidence to the floating US stock market.
