British Prime Minister Theresa May announced on Monday a new date for voting on the Brexit agreement in the British Parliament. It should take place in the third week of January, starting on January 14, 2019.
The debate will continue the week before, May said. The prime minister had canceled the vote actually scheduled for December 11 because of a clear defeat. She still hopes that she will prevail in parliament with her Brexit deal.
