In a boat accident in southern California, three people died and 27 others were injured. The San Diego fire department announced yesterday (local time) that in the morning a boat with about 30 people on board broke up near the coast and was completely destroyed. Three people on board would not have survived the accident. 27 people were taken to nearby hospitals.
The fire brigade has not yet given any details about the dead and injured. A CBP official said there was evidence that it was a smuggler’s boat intended to bring migrants into the United States illegally. San Diego is located in southern California on the border with Mexico.
