In Poland, abortions will in future be banned in almost all cases. The Polish government implemented a controversial ruling by the Supreme Court in October that revoked the previous license to abort severely malformed fetuses. There had been mass protests against the plans in October and November. There were demonstrations across Poland yesterday evening.
