The Hungarian parliament yesterday voted with a government majority for a modification of the Basic Law. The rights of the LGBT community (lesbians, gays, bisexuals and trans people) are thus further restricted – it is stipulated that parenthood can only consist of women and men. Homosexuals are excluded from the right to adopt.
