Leading US health expert Anthony Fauci has warned Americans not to feel safe over a possible vaccine against the coronavirus.
„The news about the vaccine shouldn’t lead people to say that we don’t need to continue public health efforts,“ Fauci told CNN yesterday. He appealed to the Americans: „Don’t give up when you know that help is on the way!“
Fauci called on Americans to wear masks, keep their distance from other people and wash their hands. Even if a vaccine is approved, it will initially be distributed according to priorities. For example, people who work in healthcare would be provided with it first. But he reckons that any American who wants to can be vaccinated in the first four months of the coming year.
