After criticizing its response to the coronavirus pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) has announced the setting up of a review committee to deal with the pathogen. The mandate of the independent panel of experts will be drawn up in coordination with the WHO member states, said WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in Geneva today.
The former New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark and Liberia’s ex-President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf are to chair it.
