A leopard bit an eight-year-old child to death in Nepal. The boy was on the way to his uncle when the predator attacked him, the police reported today. Initially, the child’s pants and shoes were discovered off a path. Only later did a rescue team find the child’s body around 250 meters away.
The attack occurred last night in the village of Anbu Khaireni in the center of the country. A few days earlier, a leopard had killed a two-year-old child in the region. Attacks by wild animals on people in Nepal have increased in recent months.
