The first UN Youth Climate Summit took place yesterday in New York, under the impact of global climate protests the day before.
The United Nations recognizes the importance of the global movement for more climate protection, sparked by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg. Right at the start of the summit, Thunberg took the floor and said in the presence of UNO chief Antonio Guterres, „nobody can stop us young people“.
