On August 27, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg, who is paying a working visit to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, paid a call on the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith.
Underlining that the consultative meeting between the two countries’ foreign ministries taking place in Vientiane, Laos since 2015 has great significance for the bilateral cooperation, Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg reaffirmed the invitation to Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith to visit Mongolia.

The Lao Foreign Minister expressed pleasure at the cooperation between the countries being enriched with new contents, while voicing his wish to visit Mongolia.
Presently, 45 Lao students are studying in Mongolia on a Mongolian government scholarship and over 20 Mongolian students are studying in Laos on a scholarship from the Lao government.
