Allegedly Israeli rocket attacks on southern Syria are said to have been reported by activists. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on the night of today that „probably Israeli missiles“ were fired at military positions in the south of the civil war country.
Among other things, the area of Tall al-Hara south of the capital Damascus had been affected. Exact details of victims could not make the observatory.
State Media: „Israeli Aggression“
Syrian state television spoke of „information“ about „Israeli aggression“ and „material damage“. The observatory said the rockets had been fired at positions of Syrian government forces and allies such as the Shiite Hezbollah militia.
The Syrian air defense had shot down several rockets, other missiles had hit their target against it. The targets were therefore not far from the occupied by Israel Golan Heights.
