The right-wing extremist group „Nordkreuz“ has planned politically motivated killings throughout Germany, according to a media report. The network has collected on its „death lists“ names and addresses of political opponents nationwide, reported the newspapers of the editorial network Germany (RND, Saturday issues) with reference to interrogation protocols of the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA).

According to the reports, the Federal Prosecutor’s Office assumes that the right-wing extremists from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg not only collected personal data from their regions. According to the information „Nordkreuz“ has at least two other offshoots: „Südkreuz“ and „Westkreuz“. Also in and around Berlin should be active a support group.

Nearly 25,000 political opponents captured

The names and addresses of nearly 25,000 political opponents from all over Germany were recorded in files and on electronic data carriers, which were seized during searches of „Nordkreuz“ members in August 2017 and April 2018 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. „Südkreuz“ and „Westkreuz“ do not have their own lists according to previous findings of the security authorities.

According to RND information, „Nordkreuz“ has mainly collected data from people on the left political spectrum. Most of them were positive about refugees and asylum seekers. So far, it had been assumed that „Nordkreuz“ was limited to people in the immediate vicinity of its 30 or so relatives.
