The Vice-President of Venezuela, the Minister of Communications and Information, Jorge Rodriguez, said that electricity was fully restored in the republic. This informs Telesur.

According to him, the enterprises and institutions of Venezuela will resume their work on March 14 „after a one hundred percent restoration of the electricity supply in the country.“

“There are problems with transformers in Barut and El Hatillo …,” Rodriguez added.

He also said that the water supply has now been resumed for 80% of the country’s population.

Earlier, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced the abolition of the working day and school hours in the country due to a power outage.
