On the container ship „Grande America“ from Hamburg, a fire broke out off the French Atlantic coast.
On board were 27 people, they had been rescued by the British warship «HMS Argyll», reported the responsible French lake prefecture in Brest.
The Italian-flagged vessel has containers and vehicles on board. It is located about 260 kilometers southwest of the coastal town of Penmarch Brittany. The ship was on its way to Casablanca in Morocco.
