A US federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Stephanie Clifford (Stormy Daniels) against US President Donald Trump. The US media reported yesterday (local time). By the complaint the actress wanted to overturn an agreement, after which she should not speak publicly about an alleged affair with Trump.
Nevertheless, Clifford considered the judicial decision a victory. The judge in Los Angeles dismissed the lawsuit on the grounds that the actress had „got exactly what she wanted,“ the Los Angeles Times wrote. Trump has previously agreed not to enforce the confidentiality agreement.
Book about possible affair published
Clifford said he had sex with Trump in 2006. Cohen recently said that he had paid Trump’s Hush money to the porn star to avert Trump’s damage during the election campaign. Trump admitted a payment after several denials, but denies having had anything with the actress. Clifford has since published a book about it.
On Twitter rated Clifford the court decision as the end for the secrecy agreement. She said she was threatened with damages of up to $ 20 million just over a year ago for violating the agreement. „Glad I’ve stuck and fought on,“ she wrote.
