The trading giant Amazon wants to open according to a newspaper report dozens of new supermarkets in several major US cities. The first branch should be opened at the end of the year in the West Coast metropolis of Los Angeles, wrote the „Wall Street Journal“ yesterday (local time), citing informed sources.
Lease agreements have already been signed for two more stores to be launched at the beginning of next year. An opinion from Amazon did not exist at first. The group of tech entrepreneur Jeff Bezos already owns the organic supermarket chain Whole Foods, the new shops, the report said but not under this brand and offer other, cheaper products.
