Michael Jackson’s estate administrators sue TV broadcaster HBO

In the dispute over a documentary about old allegations of abuse against the late pop star Michael Jackson yesterday his estate administrator have sued the TV channel HBO. The documentary „Leaving Neverland“ is to be broadcasted at the pay station, which belongs to the group Time Warner, on 3 and 4 March. Jackson’s estate administrators want to prevent the broadcast and now demand in the lawsuit a conciliation procedure, reported the website „Variety“. They would be entitled to damages of more than $ 100 million (€ 88 million), it says in the lawsuit.

„Leaving Neverland“ premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. In it tell two today over 30 years old men and their families, as Jackson allegedly sexually abused the two in childhood. The musician died in 2009 at the age of 50 years.
