Chinese International Finance Forum ended on Sunday. The deputy head of the BRICS New Development Bank, Sarquis Jose BuainainSrqis, said that by the end of 2018, his bank had approved projects in the BRICS of $ 8 billion. These projects mainly relate to renewable and clean energy.
For the past three years, this bank has focused on urbanization and public transport. Most railway and subway projects were funded. For future development planning, Sarquis said next year, his bank will review projects of the five BRICS countries of seven to eight billion US dollars. In addition, the bank will work for the development of the capital market of the BRICS members with the aim of achieving the long-term, economic and financial prosperity of the five economies.
