In Myanmar, more than 600 demonstrators have been released who were detained for protests against the military coup. „We released 360 men and 268 women from Insein Prison today,“ a senior officer from Yangon Prison said today.

In the Southeast Asian country, the military took power on February 1, and since then more than 2,500 people have been arrested during protests. According to UN information, at least 149 people were also killed, a human rights group speaks of almost 250 dead.
